Default Having a hard time finding...

...finding a seat that states it will push me back as far as possible.

The tallboy seat, by it's name, implies as much, but doesn't say "how" much.

A few folks seem to recommend a Mustang seat, but again, the adds don't give much detail as too how far back you sit.

I'm 6'7", 36" inseam. What seat do I want?

Thanks in advance

GBN

LOL. I'm about doing that now!

It "looks" like the solo springer seats are "back" farther....rather farther onto the rear fender than the "bolted on" solo seats.

yes?

As you can see in the pic..I have highway pegs...but sheesh...I'm still knee and leg over the tank...I think I'm S.O.L.

C and C seats can take a stock seat and carve it up to your liking. I don't think you are going to get more than an inch or so out of it though. I am 5' 10" and would also like to be a few inches more back. I got a la perra bare bone and its sits nice and low, like a saddle. There also was a guy on here selling 3 inch extensions for forward controls. I also seen someone selling longer extensions. That would help you out alot.

I would suggest buying a 1200 custom seat, pull the cover off, build it up with more foam, shave it to your preference, and recover, I've built 3 seats in the past, don't let it scare you, there is no need in paying $700+ for a seat, you can pick up the foam at almost any hardware store or even an upholstery shop, just a little patience is all it takes. Best Wishes. -Joe

you could also try forward control extensions along with a different seat
