b1008 Reset Switch Closed Instruments? DTC
My speedo showed "diag" this morning and saw how to check the diag codes and it came up with b1008 which is Reset Switch Closed Instruments.
Any clue how to clear this up?

Go ahead and give an update for the next person who searches for this alert code....
I called the dealer earlier today and told them what I was experiencing and the code. They said that the error is from the tripometer nub on the back of the speedo. Not a big deal, but more than likely it will come back. I have had issues with pressing the nub several times before it would register so the code makes sense in my mind.
I have cleared the alert and it hasn't come back so far.
