Joebotics--that is an awesome link. I am curious as to what parts are actually solid wood. 16 different species.. I sure would like to see it close up!
Could you imagine taking that thing apart to re apply the finish every year.
Marine grade urethane is a great option for clear coat. it's thick though, you would have to leave room for build up.

Yeah. What a coincidence. I saw this link today right before Joe posted his work.. I usually go to local bike shows but I have never seen this one in particular The guy wants $60k for it. If I run into this bike I'll make sure I take better pics to share with you all

Thanks Guys for all the compliments, I've always wanted to learn pinstriping, I've tried airbrushing in the past but I can't get quite used to holding the tool away from the piece instead of on it. I've also thought about etching although its hard to please people, in the past I looked into window etching but people dont know what they want, and you cant exactly erase it.
Thats an awesome find Joe, lol funny were here talking about it, and there happens to be one out there.
I agree with the other forum member about trying to etch your work on metal ...

Cool stuff no doubt. $60K and $120K invested... don't think so. But still really cool!
