I used aluminum foil to clean up some rust on a few parts. takes some work but it worked good

Neverdull is not bad at all and works good, but takes time and will leave you hands feeling nasty and black, but it washes right off. I have used a product calls Bar Keepers Friend on a set of badly rusted chome car wheels and it worked real well, but is messy.

I think the grinder would be a little off the top.

Aluminum foil? Really?!? Well I've never ever heard of that. I can just hear that sound. I don't think I could even try it.

I'm stopping by the local HD shop tomorrow to check on what they sell.

I bought a restorer called S100. I have been using a polishing cloth and a nylon brush to remove some of the rust. It works, but like everyone said, lots of elbow grease. I never did use the steel wool (was adviced by parts guy at dealership not to as he says it will leave scratch/swirl marks).
