Went to Wallmart, saw a queen sized blanket on clearence for 8 bucks. "Perfect to cover the bike in the garage for the winter" - I thought to myself. Well, its baby blue and it looks gay on top of my bike. Keep it or get a different one?
My friends... the issue is this.
A friend comes over.. lets say that buddy has not seen the bike (in all its black and chrome glory) before.
He says, "Lets look at the ride".
We go out to the garage, and I pull this sissy baby blue cover off my bike? It just takes away from the overall coolness.
No that means either he is not really your buddy or he is gay.I have never had one of my freinds hack on my bike and if they did I would kick their butt.Nuff said.By the way you should use a breathable bike cover if you cover it at all. That blanket will most likely just hold in dampness.
If it was pink, with little flowers on it, then I would think theres an issue, but just being blue, don't worry about it,, and if it just bothers the heck out of ya, drag it accros the floor a few times and get it dirty. Then it will look like it belongs in the garage.
Who cares what the bike looks like in the garage? Function is what you're looking for. I have an old chain saw that looks like homemade sin, but it cuts better than all the new pretty ones. I don't give a $hit what it looks like, the tool works.
