Default 883c Horn. WTF?
What were they thinking putting a horn like a ricer on a Harley? Is there a kit to put the standard Harley scoop horn on my 07 custom?

Where are you going to mount it.....

Try fabbing up some brachetry, cuz that is the only way you will get a Big Twin horn on an XL....

And FWIW, that "Ricer" horn has been HD for longer than most of the members of this forum have been alive....

Take a look at the 42 WL, what do you see mounted on the springer fork???????

Can anyone confirm that the 07 883 FI model does not have threaded holes on the cylinder heads for the horn mounting bracket? How do they mount the side horn on a 07 Custom? Alex
Dallastx, Why don't you contact your local dealer and fine out?

gotta say this is one of those "HD" thangs that just pisses me off! the horn you're lookin at is a Mini Stebel. available at twisted throttle . com for 40 BUCKS!! run two on my cruiser. LOUD AS HELL!! second only to a headlite modulator in importance as a saftety feature IMO. harley gets what over a hundred bucks for the horn and another 50 or so for an installation kit???

what a ripoff!! and yet if i want the sporty to look right ill be forced to pay this outrageous price simply because they used the HD emblem on it. its the wifes bike so dont know wht ill do yet. i know what she'll want tho.

yes ıt ıs a lıttle overprıced , but ı thınk ı wıll get ıt anyway for the HD logo hehe.

I like the horn where it's at on the 883's. The black kind of blends in to the frame and having it there shows off more of that nice V-twin.

I third that. Besides, those horn accessories sound too expensive for a cheap bast**d like me.
