Default 2011 883L pegs issue

I bought some pegs for my wife's 2011 883 Low, but the right side peg mount has what I would call an extended lip on one side. Basically when mounted the extended lip keeps the peg from coming down all the way. The left side mount is even and the peg mounts/moves with no problem.

Anyone have any clue? I think the bike came from the MOCO with 2010 parts maybe...

Thanks
Rick

If you are referring to one side of the clevis being longer than the other...that is the style clevis HD is using on the 48's and I think the new Customs.

Below is a picture of one on a 48.

You will either need the dealer to give you the correct mount, or you will have to get some pegs that fit the new style clevis.

I run in to that alot. You can file it down but do just a little at a time. It doesn't take much to go too far and makes it look limp.

Love how the MOCO is piecing things together now days... I guess that's part of their process improvement, reducing excess parts by using them from other bikes LOL. They should put out a bulletins on that :P
