Default Front Lights Relocation

'07XL1200C.
HOTLAP let me know about a clamp set that went on very easy and gave me the look that I was looking for.
since I was stock I had the plastic cable housing to cut. Where the cables run through two housings on each side I cut it to release the light wire. I am still looking for a fix there(tape, eliminate, ideas???).
The allen wrenching of the clamp was easy enough, but I broke one of them as it got pretty hard to turn. It broke in a good way where the head came off but the bolt is tightly holding the clamp in the right place. Lucky, but Im pissed that I broke it. too strong?
other than that I'm super stoked to have those lights off the controls.
