hey guys, new to the forum, and harleys in gerneral. been on a couple sportbikes but thought id give this side a whirl. i picked up an 09 nightster with little miles on it pretty cheap about two weeks ago... been buyin extra crap ever since ha... its like crack!! anyways, seemed like a pretty good bunch of dudes here readin through some of the posts. lookin forward to building this bike with ya'lls help!

yeah it seemed like a pretty solid base, been lookin at the diesel model exhaust from sikpipes, how you like yours?

Had a Nightster for a while and I loved that bike. I miss her, but I'm building something from the ground up now.

Got my 2009 Nightster 3 weeks ago. They're a beautiful bike.

Any set of pipes you put on that sucker are gonna sound great, now you just need deeper pockets.

Unless you don't mind waiting a couple months, don't do business with sikpipes. THEY SUCK.

well i know they're built to order pipes. they do say on their website 3-6 weeks for delivery, but they're original pipes and they're cheap! small price to pay for having something different! for instance probably half the sportster riders have V&H short shots... i havent seen ONE sporty with a set ok diesels from sikpipes!! which is what i ordered... last night ha

^^^dont get SF started on his ordeal...it was very stressful for him lol. they do make some awesome pipes. if she's gonna be down for the winter go for it, can''t ride it anyway. wait youre in texas and can ride all year round, nevermind, lol. great choice on the bike and good luck.
