Bought a battery tender this weekend, but didn't buy the "Battery Tender" brand, it is a Schumacher.
Anyone had any good or bad experiences with these? It's a multipe mode maintaniner with a "float" mode just like the Battery Tender brand is, not just a trickle charger.
It was $27 and I bought it at my local Rural King.
It's almost identical to the "Battery Tender" brand. No worries. Bought the same one from Wallyworld for about $25 a couple years ago......But threw it on my daughter's four-wheeler, as my harley stays in the rec room of the house.

That is all I use anymore . I have 3 shumacher tenders working in my garage right now. I have not had good luck with the batt tender plus .Even though their customer service is great I had to return them to daytona a couple of times .
That looks excellent. The reason I am looking for another one is my Yuasa acts like it is working, but it doesn't really give a full charge. When I went to sell my bike in Feb, 33 degrees, last year it didn't turn over. Almost killed the sale. 15 minutes on a 2 amp trickle charger it fired right up.
