I see no pics. I had the same problem with my switch. It ended up being kinda cocked in its hole, used a small screwdriver to straighten it out.

What can I say........I got laid last night hahaha. If I remember right at the back side of the switch theres a metal tab or something that you may be able to bend to keep it in place. But Im old and my memory isnt so good anymore so I may be thinking of something else.

If the switch continues to give you fits you could go to a pressure operated brake light switch like below. The 10mm x 1.25 pitch is the size you'd need. Basically just replaces the banjo bolt and works off the pressure from the master cylinder. I bought one of these to use on the set of stock controls that I'm chopping up.
