so here's what i got going on. rene over @ mercurymoto pounded out a fender for me from a flat piece of sheet metal and i'm super pumped on it! i've ordered a rear coker firestone blackwall and the front will be ordered next week. i'm also trading my gas tank with an xlforum member for his 48 peanut (wire tuck and coil relo will be done at this time also, need that flat bottom frisco look). might swap the seat out for this one too:
i'm def. going to do something with the exhaust too. got my eye on a few sets of pipes out there or i might get a local indy here to build me the pipes i want. also thinking about modifying a stock set of header pipes and welding on some exhaust tips with lollipop baffles (got the idea from another member over on xlforums) but we'll see. still gotta chop the rest of my struts up to the top suspension mount too and relocate my rear blinkers (or just remove them altogether and get a single brake light). here's the fender test fitted on rene's bike, still needs to be PC'd black of course.
Bro.... I love where you are going with your mods.. it is going to look awesome!
so do i man, i'm so into the jap motorcycle subculture lately it's sickening. they sure do know style....

yeah ergo, rene is a super cool dude and he makes some bitching stuff to boot.
Rene at Mercury Moto is actually doing a sale on Nara right now. He said he'll do any custom design you'd want for no more than $120 shipped. Hard to beat that deal.
^^^fvcking cell phones! yeah rene bangs stuff out pretty quick and the quality is excellent. he's a rad dude too, wouldn't mind drinking a couple beers with him and picking his brain about bikes.
well i'm gettin there. in between moving, getting anew puppy and a new job i'm managing to get something done. ok so i finally relocated my coil and ignish, lifted the tank 1.5", tucked my wires (with help from my boy blumpkin) and i swapped tanks with an xlforum member for a 48 peanut and i fawking love it! i'll be dropping off the fender rene made for me at the powder guy this week hopefully. got my firestones (stoked) and just need to chop the fender struts back a bit further and grind them bitches out. only thing left after that is a new exhaust, glad i have choices. here she is so far.
