Not paranoia. Just not worth it. Especially if I can just sell them and get him to make me a new pair. If you were a structural engineer maybe I'd believe you....maybe, and even then I'd need to smoke a lot of herb.
You still don't get it SF? HOW THE FVCK WOULD I KNOW IF THEY WERE DRILLED INSIDE BY LOOKING AT THEM? I never asked him to drill the outside of the bars because I could do that. I just wanted to make sure that in the event I wanted to go internal all I would have to do is drill a few holes on the outside of the bar. When I got them I wasn't planning on running anything Internal but told Rene to drill them inside In case I changed my mind down the road or I went this route with the switches. It's all good. Like I said I gotta get the throttle off and poke around. HERE, in Florida for a few days and when I get back I'm picking up the tank. Can't wait to see it in person. Ill slap it on just to get an idea of what it will look like and post a pic of two. So stoked on the tank. Thanks.
^^and that may be the case. But I have to try it.
If anyone hasn't seen it yet check this out. Look how crazy these bars are. If these can be internally wired then so can mine. If they're drilled!
Still don't know what you're talking about. Did he use solid 1" bar stock? Sorry man I stillddon't know what you're saying.
Dude! lol streetfighter you are way smarter than this hahah... where all the tubes weld to each other.... they are still hollow, but where they are welded together would be solid unless the tube was drilled before welding it. basically every junction where the tubes were welded together may or may not have a wall in the way.
