Default "Cowbell" & coil relocation

As usual, one project leads to another.....
I switched out my headlamp to lose the "eyebrow". Which, lead to a tank lift due to all the dang wiring hidden in there. The tank lift obviously left the coil staring me in the face....
I really did not care to lose the cowbell. I know many of you prefer to lose it, though after riding metrics for so many years, the cowbell was a more than welcome sign that I had graduated. So, in my search for a coil relocation allowing for bell to remain, this is the route I went. I wish I could claim "rights" to this, but must admit I cannot. I saw a picture of the finished product of the following relocation. I did search after search on HDF and could not find it here so I thought I would share.

had to file down the corners of the coil housing to fit in the bell

cut the original mounting bracket

drilled a hole to fasten the coil assembly to the bell

went to the local auto parts and grabbed a "DIY plug wire kit"

final product

This project cost about $20= plug wire kit and a 1/4-20 bolt for fastening the coil to the bell.
Also, I can fully depress the enricher without having to moving it.

I did a similar relocation with my '04 XLC. The coil seems to be quite a bit bigger than yours, but eventually I made it work.
