Took this photo about an hour ago. Supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, will be freezing so it'll stick and the salt trucks will probably do their thing. Took the Sporty out for a final ride, topped off the gas tank (so no condensation, stored in an unheated garage), and felt kind of sad. Fingers felt a little numb, too, mid-30's will do that. And nose - had to keep the faceshield cracked a little 'cause that and my glasses would fog up when closed. The boots? Damn right they get stored for the winter, ain't gonna be no salt on my Harley boots! I'd like to find another tank and fenders this winter and try a black with subtle maroon highlights paintjob; might look better in a flash photo.

Freakin masochist. I guess I should get a snowmobile; you must already have one. I guess there are worse places to live. Hey, if I head north on Cedar and hang a right on 494, I'd be in your town in about 20 minutes. Only I've never ridden on 494, I'd feel like a hockey puck at the big game.
