Drag Bars for Stock Risers?

I'm thinking of installing some drag bars on my stock risers (1991 XLH883) and I have the stock tank.

Is there a recommended width, pullback, and center width that would allow NO interference with the tank?

I've looked at the Flanders 18 degree, 27" width. 4" pullback, 7.5" center . Or maybe the 18 degree, 23" wide, 3" pullback, 5" center.

Any ideas? Maybe I should contact Flanders?

I have the stock bars now (4.5" rise, 7.5" pullback, 27" wide, 4.75" center)

I don't know what the degree is on mine but i have 23" wide ones on mine with no tank issues (3.3 gal)

Wouldn't be a bad idea to shoot Flanders a call tho.

I also have no idea what the angle is for my bars, but I'm running like 28" drags on my stock risers, and I have no clearance problems. check my profile pic
