Default biltwell window bars internal wiring?

Has anyone tried to internally wire biltwell window bars?
I've been looking into it and haven't really found a definitive answer.
Is it just a straight bar on top welded on? (in which case there wouldn't be holes for the bars for interal wiring)
I am looking to switch out my bars in the near future and
love the look of the window bars.

Have you called Lick's or sent an email...?

I want to run the same bars, but not if they can't be internally wired.

why the hell would you email licks? email biltwell as pixie stated. licks is juts a reseller, they can't even go as far as mentioning that the bars are made by biltwell, wtf? for someone who doesn't know, they'd think lick's made those bars. just like a bunch of other things on their website with no mention of the orig. mfg. pretty lame.

My bad.

I had a tab open to the Licks's website to view the product description to see if it had any info on internal-wiring... contacting Biltwell directly is the way to go if no-one here has any first-had experience with an install.

Default Cannot be done

To answer your question, no. I just finished drilling out the holes only to find out they are not completely hollow. Unfortunately, internal wiring is out of the question for Biltwell window bars.

Default old question new answer

Bought window bars for my bike. You can internally wire bars, a little modified. Its been done.

Called biltwell, and spoke to Eric, very cool and helpful.

Top bar is solid, but you can run wires straight out along dimple straight out to down bars on each side and drill holes. Obviously drilled bottom center bar out. and run wires
Eric said just to be careful and wrap wires really well, inside of bars can be sharp from cuts and slag from welds. I will post pics of mine when done.
Hope this helps someone else, thought I would pass info on.
Later.
