Being a Harley owner that wants people to notice you with loud exhaust tells me you are committed to the Harley lifestyle.

If you're serious, thanks. I'm into it!

My buddy has a pair of V&H Short Shots and they're sweet. I'd like to sell my stock slip ons and my SE's and then spring for the V&H's.

That's cool. Like to try to make people feel badly, huh? If you don't have something nice to say, bud, why don't you just stfu and keep your pissy attitude to yourself.

Meanwhile, I'll work on trying to get my pipes louder.

Ride safe (if you even have a bike). Lmao!

Thanks, Voony, for getting the thread back on a good vibe. I'd love to know how "HelmetHead" defines the Harley Lifestyle.

I personally believe it's about having a bike you're proud of and being part of a group of people who have a common bond because they love to ride motorcycles. I think it's also about people *helping* each other out with advice about motorcycles, admiring each other's bikes and going on group rides.

HelmetHead, on the other hand, seems to believe it's about something else...I guess he thinks it's about being a smartass.

Lol....I wonder what BucketHead....er, I mean HelmetHead would think about the HD bar and shield front license plate on my 2011 Range Rover. According to his standards, that would mean I'm not living the Harley lifestyle. Throw my BMW K1200S on top of that and I may as well burn my Sporty in the street.

Thanks again. And ride loud yourself, bud.

Now, here I am with a *new* set of pipes that I like but maybe don't love. I know nothing about messing with baffles or about getting more out of your existing pipes, but if anyone can talk to me about how to get more out of these pipes I'd appreciate it.

I'm not buying new pipes...that's for sure. So if there isn't a solution, that's cool. But if there's a way to get more out of what I have I'm all about it!

Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Louder...?

Maybe that HelmetHead is trying to convey the fact that he's just plain badass. I'd ignore people like him if I were you.

Out to ride now...
