Really? I thought $1500 was about average for OTD price? I've heard some say 2k. And the bike retails for 8k... When it comes time here in a month I'll do the whole play the dealers against each other thing.

I also want a leather jacket and helmet for free though, and I'm wanting to see what kind of deal I can get on forward controls. So if I bring them down too much there goes any of that I would think. But who knows?

The one dealer against the other didnt work for me, I tried 5 of them.

This is what I did. It took an extra few days to make a contact at each dealer to establish that I was serious. I literally said, "I'll write a check right here, right now if you want me to.". I listened to a lot of crap about market-pricing, etc. But, walking out of one dealer and going to another saved me over $1,500.
