Default NRHS Experience

Bought a Hurricane Air Cleaner and breather kit from them. It came in UPS today. Looked thru the stuff and "found" some missing bolts. Called them up and they had me check thru and when we couldn't find it, promised to ship it tomorrow.

5 mins later, of course I found them.

Not their fault but they were super nice and remembered my order in spite of me having to make a 2nd call and sheepishly tell them what I found.

Of course this is why my wife always said that if she ever got lost, do not go search for her or get involved in the search. Just tell them where she was last seen and do nothing. I'd probably lose my head if it wasn't stuck on.

Still, I can't fault their customer service and instead of blaming me, helped me find it and when we couldn't, offer to ship out a new set at their expense.

Unless the Mayans are right and the world ends or somehow I don't go the 1250 route, I am pretty sure who I am ordering the kit from.

Yeah I been thinking 1250 myself, but I'm just not visually done with my bike yet. And the NRHS guy was very nice over PM's on xlforum. So that's where I'll go when I decide to jump up.

I am more leery about what you do AFTER money changes hands than what you or your web site says. So far, they have proven to have service AFTER the sale. Before the sale, you can pretty much promise me the stars and the moon. I look for what you do AFTER you got my money. If you do poorly, you bet you will never see another penny of mine and I will make sure everyone knows it.

Therefore, it is only fair when you do good work, I let others know too.

If you are willing to pay for it, I'll use my bike as a test mule for you.

Money is always the sticker. Unlike the govt, you and I cannot simply print it.

You got the money, honey, Dan has got the time.

I have dealt with Dan at NRHS couple of times with twin cam motors. His finished machined products are some of the best I've seen with exacting tolerances, and the price is very fair. Add to this the customer service and general good nature of Dan and his crew and you have a winner!!

Just did my 1250 conversion and Dan was awesome. One of the best vendors I have ever dealt with and would not hesitate to recommend them. I will be using NRHS for sure when I do my stage 2 upgrades sometime in the future.

When I do it, I really don't feel like doing it again so I will piece together everything. Stage II heads, cam and 1250 kit. After it is installed over the winter, dyno tune.

I already got the AC so next thing is the 2:1 exhaust from D&D Bobcat. Come spring, install and dyno tune.
