On Progressive's site, they only list 13" as an acceptable length for the rear shock. On the RSD build, they used 14" saying they "bolt right on and the are no other mods required." Has anyone used the 14" (I assume for the XR1200) and does it just bolt right on? Do you have to use custom spacers to get it to fit correctly?

I have the 14s on mine.
the supplier gave me the correct spacers.
they will bolt right on but you lose the rear fender horn covers (see pic)
I e-maile Progressive a few times for advise but to be honest they did not respond so i think there customer service is non-existant

That is exactly what I am looking at doing to my bike. When you ordered the suspension, did you just tell them it was for a Nightster? Who did you go through to make the purchase?
Your bike is great and I hope mine comes out just as nice!

i told my supplier they were for a Nightster and actually it was him that told me i needed different spacers.
Are you in the UK or USA as my supplier was UK based and had to order them from USA

I'm in the USA. I will give a couple of online dealers a call and see if any of them can get me the correct spacers. Thanks for the help!
