Default Fuel Line Question

I'm putting a nightster tank on my softail, but need a longer fuel line. My buddy has an iron, and the stock fuel line looks to be long enough for what I need, but I don't know the part number. I found two part numbers for the sportsters, 27693-07 and 62351-07. 62351-07 says it's for large tanks, but I don't know if that means it's longer or shorter. My stock line is about 5" long, I need something a little bit longer. Anyone know the length of these part numbers?

Go to your local parts store. Take the line with you to make sure you get the right size. They sell it by the foot. Buy about a foot more than you need and cut it to length at home. Make sure its gas line not vacuum air or break. They're chemically different. It will be about half the price the dealer wants.

This line has those pressure fittings crimped on the end for EFI - I'm not sure a parts store would be able to custom make those lines. Could be wrong though.

I don't try spring clamps or zip ties. The gas line isn't pressurized. I have used both of the above.
Never had any leaks, but check.

This is an injected bike - the fuel line from the pump to the throttle body has high-pressure fittings on each end. Even if I use normal fuel line I still need to find a place to crimp the ends on for those connectors. You can't clamp the line on with a hose clamp like a gravity feed system.

I was referring to line between the tank and pump. Which isn't pressurized.

The pressure in the line should be 10-15 PSI. The connection will probably require you to to with the dealer parts.

That's what I figured, I just don't know how long those part numbers are that I posted above - I have to find a model that's got a line about 2" longer than the softail line. Might just have to take my line down to the dealer and compare with what they've got there.
