Nightster projects "with pics"
got the turn signals relocated to the forks with the arlen ness kit
now doing the coil relocation and running the wires through the handlebars
so here is some picks before and after
tank lift brackets I made (with stainless bolts)
I am a machinist so I am perfectionist , I wire loomed all exposed wires
you can see the relocated signals in this pic

Me too I think it looks dorky, but I is so nice to have one one the highways or when its chilly, I take it off for trips around town

My Dad has one on his Street Bob... he loves it. Back in the 70's he and his friends would ride around town in the middle of summer bare-foot, in cut-off shorts, and a pair of sunglasses. I tell him he's getting old 
I ride with a full face helmet, most Harley guys don't like em.
As a friend of mine (who rides a Vulcan) once remarked about windshields during a gas stop as he lit up a smoke...
"You can't smoke and ride without a windshield..."
