Seeings I am new here as far as posting. Can anyone tell me if there is a windsheild that actually fits a 2011 XL1200C ? I know what Harley recommends but don't really like the look of it. Any suggestions?
I have a 2011 XL1200C and I put HD's windshield on. I rode 10 miles or so and had to take it off! Way too much buffett!
Long Ride Shields has a new bar mounted windscreen they are releasing this month and I think I will try it. They are GREAT people to work with and I have two of their flip up's on my Electra. Great products!
National Cycle Deflector Shield. Easily removable and the size fits the bike well. Keeps the brunt of the wind off your torso.
I've got the same on my 2006 XL1200C, don't see why it wouldn't fit yours. I take it on and off a lot, only use it for early morning commutes to work when it's cold, or any time I'm going to be on the highway for more than a half hour or so. I'm still "in the wind" but it makes a huge difference at anything over 45mph as far as fighting the pressure on the torso like mentioned.
It's not too big and works pretty well, I got the tinted version with the quick removal hardware. I wanna say it was just under $100 shipped.
