To a Goldwing rider...Hand straight up.
To a Crotch rocket rider... 2 finger peace sign side to side wave.
To a Can Am rider... Full Hand, straight out to the side arm fully extended...At least 1/8 of a mile before they get to you.
To a Regular trike rider... High with 3 fingers
To a Metric cruiser.. Wave hard
To a BMW rider...Don't bother, they barely never wave. (still ok to try but don't get pissed of if they don't reciprocate)
To a HD rider...Just a short wave down low, in the middle or up high...just don't over do it so not to look too much like a real poser...
This was in the poser book of waving.
...and you should know, You are "King" of the Poser's.

Reason: spelling
I do the hand down wave unless I'm pulling away from a light and going to shift then they get the nod lol
+1 ... However I can alway rely on my Gf who gets way to excited when she sees another bike and happily throws out her hand than chuckles when they give it back or hits me and says what an ******* when they dont lol man I love her !!
In England you get a nod (not all the time) this doesn't seem to extend to learner riders or scooters.
Some just don't bother but if I see a fellow Harley davidson rider they revieve a nod and a heel click over the handlebars whilst giving a hearty wink and a gun...
So, what's everyone's take on waving to / acknowledging trikes or moped/scooters? Kind of a grey issue with me, I never know if I should, but usually I do, because I figure they are out enjoying life on the open road also.
