Starter problem please help

Quick update pulled the primary cover to see what was going on found the bendix is extending but not spinning. I pulled the starter and it seemed seized up. Pulled it apart cleaned the crap out of it it now bench test good spins and everything. Put it back in bike and tried it again it now turns the motor over am I good to go or is there somthing thats going to screw me next time i take the bike out. Should i just go ahead and bite the bullet and get a new starter or just wait and see what happens

personally I would just replace the bendix and sand the contact disc...they are pretty cheap compared to the whole starter...and it the starter never had a problem turning over the motor before the windings are probably fine....
