How is everyone this my first post glad to be a hd member.
I just installed a big sucker and a blackout 2-1 and tuning it with a fuelpak. My problem is throttle response it's very hesitant until higher Rpms.
I got my settings off there website since its a Sunday I typed in everything rite I've double checked that but from the videos and from what I've heard you have to calibrate on step 21 but the programmer only works when it's running. I'm guessing it's ran buy the pump? So how do you calibrate these models and does anyone have a link to different settings I could try to fix this problem. Thank you all help is appreciated
I ditched mine because of many problems with it. On the 2010 and newer models it states in the instructions that the Calibration step with these models is not done.
im not gonna lose hope until i talk to them tommorow but its just like in the acceleration its missing and being really hesitant. hopefully i can figure it out
Had the same problem with the hesitation when it is cold. Emailed V&H and they gave me some new settings but the problem remains. Removed the unit and the problem went away. I am now awaiting another reply from them as to what to do now or it's going back!

Make sure they didn't give you the 883 map! Like they did me...
But I would call them I told them about my sloppy acceleration and they gave me new codes for 5,6, and 9 and it worked out pretty good... But I am really thinking about just selling the fuel pak and getting it dynoed and downloaded... But I haven't had many problems with my fuel pak
Me too, they gave me new settings for modes 5,6,10 & 11. Was even worse!! Now they say that the reference # that I picked was wrong because I should've used one for a stock ECU. I didn't even see that option on their website or the booklet! I'll try this new set of numbers out and get back with the performance results. Hopefully, that's the cure.
