Default 2012 black denim forty eight
i reported in when i first got this bike about 4 months ago. Since then I have really been loving it (and have done a few modest mods). I was at the dealership the other day and just checking out the new bikes. there wasnt one the on the floor i liked the looks of better than my 48. i am really happy with this bike!

Nice. I am assuming you painted it matte black since that is not a color choice on the 48? You gonna do any tank decal/emblem?

I would not do a tank emblem or decal, personal preference.

Harley had the paint done when I bought it. I think I am going to leave the tank plain. Like many have said about the 48, the tank capacity is a joke. But it's the peanut tank that gives it character. I can live with it.

Did you order up the denim black on your 48 from the factory? If so, how much extra did they charge you? I didn't think you could get any color other than the ones offered for a particular model.

I'd love to have a 48 in denim black. Looks awesome!

Some dealers do custom paint, mine has a 48 that is metallic green with a RSD Pipe and clipons
