i was wondering if any has installed the mini tach kit on a 2005 xl200c
i bout the kit in the summer but never put it on because in sept my free time out riding
now it is cold and need to get ready for the riding season but i lost the instruction sheet so i am not sure where to connect the wires
i have mostly everything connected but there is a red/white and green/violet i don't remember where they go
any ideas??????????????
My '04 Service manual says.....Light Green/violet is Datalink in on Tach connector pin 2 . I don't show a red/white but orange/white is Accessory on tach connector pin 6 If at all possible, I would see if the stealer would let you see/copy instructions from an in stock kit. They can reseal the box. Best to make sure if you can...no sense burning something up. G'Luck
Ahhh! I see where you're at...Red/white (pin3) on the ICM is "5V sensor Power" going out to the MAP and Speed Sensor. As I said before, good idea to see if a stealer will let you see instructions.
