Default Saddle bags, sissy bar, second seat on a nightster?

Looking at an '08 Nightster. Are the options listed above available to put on a nightster over a 1200 Custom or the likes of it? I've mainly been looking at 1200C's but came across a nightster that is reasonably priced so I'm trying to keep my options open. Rarely would I haul much but I would like to at least know I had the ability to.

Can you, yes. Should you? Maybe not. Sissy bar no problem, saddle bags kind of clutter the bike IMO and you can fit a second seat on there too. But personally I wouldn't put the seat to use riding two up. Nightsters are pretty low to the ground to start with.

If it were me and I were putting on a two up seat to ride two up I'd wait and save up some extra cash for a bigger bike. I'd rather spend a little more and have no regrets with what I own

I have nightster with a removable rear seat and backrest. I have no issues running 2up. The suspension does suck, but it is not a deterrent. As a solo bike, the suspension sucks. Try it out, if you're not happy throw on some air shocks. As for the bags, I am only using a tool bag on the front, i recommend the plunderdogs (Google it) hand made in America by a really cool guy that made some leather stuff for me last year. The bags cary what you would need and look great on the bike. They are costly though and thats the only reason I'm not running them myself.

Good luck on your decision.

I have a sissybar/luggage rack, and two up seat. I have a swing arm solo bag for essentials (hex key and some other tools). For long rides or going to the grocery store, I use a roll bag. the suspension does suck, so I ordered works performance shocks and fork spring kit, should be here soon.

I will be making mine two up this winter. I can't be with out the bags. it makes life so much easier when you can carry what you need on the ride.
