I use the gun lock. Most that I have seen have a plastic tube over the cable and plastic cover over the lock. Yes it works with any helmet with rings.

I bought this one from Harley, they didn't bother to tell me it wouldn't fit anywhere so I bolted the front half to the backrest side plate.

I went the walmart route and bought a short cable lock with combo that has a sleeve. cost about $10.

I had one for my 91, and sold it when i got my 04


Now, if anyone wants a gun lock, please pm me. All i ask is you pay for shipping, and I will send you one. We have boxes of them at work

Hi I have 3 or 4 gun cable locks that are coated with plastic that I use to lock helmet, jacket to the bike, but as mentioned if they want it they can just cut straps off . The locks are for the casul grab and walk away thief...WVleo

Walmarts sells the pistol cable locks for a couple is $. They work great.

That one in the eBay link looks great. I went to their site, gonna see if they will ship to Canada. The guy on eBay wants $32. To ship to me! Lol
