does anyone know of this will work on a 2009 xl122c sportster

You could always get a Pistol cable lock.....as I'm pretty sure the PD will give you a free one if you ask, atleast I've heard of them doing that if you ask.

It's a "universal" part (not make or model specific)- mounts to any 7/8” to 1 1/4” diameter frame tube, engine guard or other tube bar.

The frame tubes on '04 and up Sportsters are 1 3/8". It won't fit on them.
Google "thumb cuffs", or use hand cuffs.

If it doesn't fit on the frame tube, then it can be mounted to any other 7/8” to 1 1/4” diameter tube- like the engine guard, sissy bar tube or luggage rack tube if you got one. I had one on my engine guard, but took it off- it was just another key to carry.

I'm using a small 8" cable lock designed for handguns and I place my helmet over the Speedo and wrap the cable through the helmet straps and D rings, then around the handle bar. As everyone knows the locks are a detterent, if someone wants it they'll cut the strap or cable or just steal the bike, but overall this has really worked for me.

do the gun locks screw up your paint or scratch anything? and would it work with a full face
