Go to the Latus site and e-mail them about your needs and leave them you name and phone number. I sent an email to them about a dual front rotor setup (the SE set up for a Softail) The latus team spent a good deal of time working with me on the ends and out and provided partnumbers. Free shipping at this price range but this type of mod should look right and be built with quality. If you got to skimp here you are better off leaving it undone. Just my opinion. Post back with a picture and part number for all for future reference if it work for you.

Although I like the clean minimal look of a single gauge... I really wish I had a stock Harley option for a tach solution... analog... blacked out and keeping with the clean lines of my bike... although the Dakota alternative is interesting it's just not me... had I wanted that sort of thing I'd just have revisted my earlier days and bought a Asian crotch rocket loaded up with all the digital bells and whistles... but I've moved on from that and I love my Iron and everything it stands for... after conceding that I would have to go to dual gauges... I thought the 67182-07 Harley offering would do it for me... however the Dealership told me that my 2012 XL883N was not compatible with that setup (electrically and/or connection-wise)... can't remember the specifics but the guys in service said they'd love to sell it to me and install it but it was just a no go... sigh
The tach is not an absolute necessity... but neither was the 1200 kit... or 20+ other modz I've added to it... never having regretted one of them...
