83 xlh trans problem
Ok hear we go i have a 83 xlh 1000 sportster i bought this thing not running. The tenihher that applies pressuer to the primary chin in the chain case broke knocked a hole in the chain cover so i replaced all that. Had junk forward controls on it fab up my own. took it out for it first ride to day adjusted the cluch and it like the bike is stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear hard to take off. If i feathered the clutch a bit and got it up to speed (approx 40 or so mph no speedo) i runs ok but kind of sluges. Any help before i pull my hair out would be great thanks guys
