primary chain adjustment messup!
[:@] Help. i just tried to adjust my primary chain. now the bike will not move in gear with the cluch pulled in. What did i do? Can the chain jam or come off the sprockets? any suggestions? I am going to pull off thecover tomorrow. This is on an 06 night train. THANKS

you may not have messed up. The bike can be very hard to push in gear with the clutch pulled in IF the motor is not running. Does it go ok if the motor is running and does it push ok if in neutral ?? if yes you arenormal. The wet clutch does not move easy when not running.

If the chain is (way) too tight, I believe it could bind. I just installed the automatic tensioner on my '02, as I got tired of the adjustment process. It only took about a half hour, and so far it's working fine. Of course, it was only last weekend.....
