I had my cobra for couple months and I had problems with the gas milage and at low speed it doesn't idle good. I called cobra blah blah. I got a new unit same problem. Called them back and I was told I was gonna get a call from the tech and it never happen. I'm kind of disappointed with this product. I mean it works good but to a certain point. I don't know what's next? Maybe thundermax.
i've been very pleased with the thundermax, although i know some haven't.
Well I got my call from Cobra. We discussed my problem which is the fuel mileage I was getting with the Cobra unit. Really nice guy to talk to. They are going to send me a new board to replace the old. The new one is their new unit that has the button to help me lean out my cruse mode. It will still auto tune but I can dial it in to be right on the money such as being too rich in cruse and then forget it. So going to give it a shot.

Let us know how that works out for you. I'm still waiting on my call. I'm gonna see if they can send me one that you can tune your self cause this auto tuner stuff ain't cutting it for me.
These cobra auto tuners must be the biggest piece of ****. Everyday theres a new thread about people going through two or three of em and still not working right. I would get my money back and buy one of the million other tuners that work great......................everytime, not just one out of every 5.
