Hey appreciate it ... I must be really tired or something because I can't find it I see the kit but the longest option I see is 25 inches and that's 85 bucks
yes, stock clutch/throttle cables can be used with 10" bars. On the 48 at least, I just cut a few cable ties off and moved the cables above the front gas tank bolt mount(stock is below the mount) to get a little extra length. Only cable I replaced was the brake cable.
So the stock clutch/throttle cables can be used with the 10" Z bars?
Yea from what I've gathered from asking around and reading on different websites only thing that needs to be replace for 10 inch bars is the brake line and I've even see some guys make the stock one work but it looks stupid so they ended up replacing it ... I'm ordering everything this week and with a drop down mirror it's only $205 for bars and the BYO brake line kit. Pretty excited to get em on. I and a little curious how it will handle because I do like to max the bike out every now and again, will that be next to impossible with these bars ?
Also while the keystones are cool, IMO they look like **** with all the hs controls on them way to buisy, those are a good bar on a minimalist bike.
Eh.. Keystones aren't uncomfortable at all, and you can use your stock cables..
All you'll spend is the 100.00 the bars cost.. I like how mine look and feel
How tall are you ?? Only because the entire reason I'm losing the drag bars is comfort, I like how they look so I don't wanna spend a 100 on bars that will essentially do the same thing of you get what I'm saying
After all that just got off the phone an they are sold out for Atleast another month and a half for individual sales ... So looks like I'll have to order the bars install and then measure ... O well
