Default Can i use burly 12' cable kit for my 10' mini apes?

Will they be too long? Or will this just mean that if I want to eventually go up to 12' ape hangers I can without re-cabeling?

Probably because you wrote 10' and 12' which means 10ft and 12ft. That's just too big.

I've heard people using the 12" burly kit with 14" apes, so the kit would most definitely work with your 10" apes but the cables just might have a lot of extra slack in them. Why bother connecting up the 10" apes if you're already planning on getting 12" bars??

I used their 12" kit w/their 14" apes w/plenty left over. 10" apes you SHOULDN'T need any longer cables/wires. Google it or call & ask them.

I used the 12" burly kit with 12" road6 bars and there is plenty of slack. I agree with TexFF, you can definitely get away with 12" on 14's. I would say you'll be good with the stock cable length with the 10's. My experience (with 12's racked) was even the stock cabling would just start getting tight, I figured since I ordered the kit why not change out the lines and use it.

Good luck the the bar install, set aside a day and take your time, it's just a tedious process.
