Can i use Burly 12" cable kit on a Harley 12" Mini apes
Hi Guys. i ride a 2012 Iron 883 and am from India. I would like to put the Harley 12" mini apes on my bike, Can i use the Burly's 12" cable kit with the Harley 12" mini ape handlebar? Will it be perfect? Cable kit from Harley costs me Thrice that of the Burly Cables. Appreciate your feedbacks on it. Thanks in advance.
Thats what I used for 10 inch apes on my iron and I have plenty of slack.Burly recommends that kit for there 12 inch bars so you are good to go with it!
The burly cable kits contain cables that are longer than they need to be.. if they sell a 10" kit, I'd recommend getting that instead for 12" mini apes.
That being said.. you might be able to make your stock cables work, in fact everything except the brake line is very likely to be long enough, and the brake line can be sourced locally from any brake shop.
