You be you. If you like the way your bike looks, that's all that matters.
Labeling your bike as a certain type of build is just going to run you right in to confrontation with people challenging your statement.
People design their setups based off of INFLUENCE from the way another motorcycle looks. I don't care who you are, you stole some idea from someone else's build, and maybe just tweeked it a bit to your liking.
Rather then claiming your motorcycle is "this" particular style, just say "This is my Iron." Then maybe state your influences, or say nothing and leave it an open book to avoid criticism. You'll most likely avoid 4 pages of nonsense and people's comments making you not want to be part of this forum. Oh, and people using the word "gay" as an adjective.
I'll be honest, I don't like your bars, grips, the obnoxious factory speedo set up, the bra, or the cone filter. But that doesn't matter. You do! That's all that matters!
Keep modding, keep posting, don't take everything to heart, and enjoy your ride.
Also, about the terrible factory speedo set up - whats the best/easiest way to lower that thing in profile? Cause it does look janky sitting up like that.
couple questions about that beauty: is that the RSD cafe seat and, if so, how you like it? Comfortable?
Also, pipes look great, assuming its loud as a sack full of cats... what are they?
They are the Rough Craft pipes.
You can see a video of his bike on Youtube; search for Rough Craft Iron or something and you should be able to find it.
The rough craft pipes are a big favorite of mine. anyone know where to pick some up? They arnt available on their site and I have yet to take the time to reach out to them. Just wondering if anyone knows a dealer.
Yea I agree with everyone, I hate the eiffle tower of a speedo after going to clip ons or drag bars, trying to decide between Joker or RSD's, leaning towards the RSD setup.

Most people get one of these, and bolt it to the gas tank.
As for keeping it up top but having a lower appearance you could try to get your hands on a 48 speedo/headlamp mount.
Roland Sands makes a pretty sweet speedo/headlamp mount as well. Too expensive if you ask me though.
