Last night I unbolted my shocks, removed my rear turn signals and the fender rail covers. Then I put the covers back on, and bolted the shocks back on (I did not add new turn signals).
This morning I noticed that the front and back screws that hold the fender rail cover onto the fender touch the tire. I can't even slide a pen in between.
I wonder if I could have tightened the covers screws too tight and slightly squeezed the fender inward? What do you guys think?

Are you sure you didn't get the screws mixed up? Guessing 04 or later....
The rear screws (both sides) are 1-3/8"
The front screws (both sides) are 1-3/4"

+1 Something didn't get put back right.
Tire touching but a pen wont fit?
You're missing something. Better go back and re-trace what you did. Remember, if you removed something that was bolted there, you'll need to either replace it with something same thickness or get shorter bolts.

I went back and undid everything. I forgot two washers on two of the fender bolts!!! One one side there is 1/2" and on the other 1/4" ish between the fender and the tire...I wonder why there is such a difference. But I do hope that's enough clearance now :-)
