I am wondering how much oil you guys add to your reservoirs between oil changes to keep it at a consistent level on the dipstick between changes.
I find the level on my dipstick is a little bit lower every few hundred km and I need to add some to keep it 1/4 inch above the low mark every 1000 km or so.
I haven't ever had to add any. Harley states that 1 quart every 1000 miles is acceptable consumption if you can believe that. If I lost a quart every 1000 miles I would tear it apart to find the hole.
So if your under that Harley says it's fine.
When you think about it though these bikes get insanely hot. I would assume the motor would just vaporize oil or turn it into mud. But they seem to do alright.
None yet, Mine has stayed at the halfway mark between min and max on the stick. I hope it stays that way lol. Specially after i switch to Syn soon. That stuff is expensive as hell.
