Default Weird vibration.. Loose pipe

So on my way to work today I noticed a weird vibration at high speeds.. Although I ride an Iron 883, after I replaced my front sprocket for a 29T, the vibrations at high speed were considerably reduced.. So it wasn't too hard to notice today.

When I got to work I did a quick look around to see what could be causing the vibration, and didn't seen anything (at first I didn't think it could be the pipes so I didn't even check them).. Later while taking a smoke break, for some reason, I decided to check the pipes.. and sure enough, one of the pipes was lose and the 2 bolts that attach the pipe to the bracket are gone..

I'm happy that I found the source of the weird vibration, but now I'm worried that I won't make it home before the pipe will just fall off on the freeway.. I'm thinking about using some zip-ties where the bolts go on the bracket, but I don't know how much they will last before just melting off..

Any suggestions ?

Thanks.

Wouldnt use zip ties, you're correct, they'll melt.... Maybe use safety wire or something just so it doesnt vibrate off...

I'm assuming you're talking about the 2 bolts that attach the muffler to the crossover? The muffler is still clamped to the head pipe so I dont think you'll lose it or anything, just get it home and get her fixed.

Maybe a shoelace just to hold the pipe in place ?.. it's like a 20 mins ride home.

If its just the muffler I highly doubt you'll lose it, those clamps are usually on there pretty good where it meets the head pipe.
