Default Pullback Handlebars

Was wondering if anyone has them on their bike and if so,how they liked them. Also post pics of them, thought about getting a set but wanted to see them on a bike first.

Thanks

I had them on my Sporty. I really liked them. They made the bars a little wider and brought them back to me about an inch. I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

Thanks Heather, another question for ya, did you have to buy new cables or did the stick ones work, again thank you.

I had to buy all new cables. The stock ones will not work.

According to the July 14 press release for the 2007 models, "Sportster customizing is made easier by a two-inch lengthening of handlebar wiring." Does anyone know if the cables changed, or just the wiring?

We tell customers that when buying new bars, a rough formula to follow is to measure the increased height + 1/2 the increased pullback that the new bars will give you. This amount will be very close to how much additional cable and brake line that you may need. However, the best method is to fit the new bars to the motorcycle and then make the increased length determinations, if needed at all.
