Default i need a bit of help again members??

look i need a total of four bolts,,i would like some type of
chrome bolts,,they go threw my tail-lights,,,threw my HD
small sissybar, here is whats bad,,i dont know the size??
the lenth??if the factory bolts screw into threads??or a nut
has to be placed inside the fender??i had hard bags with long bolts dont know were the originals wentsold them
and now need four bolts,,and have not a clue where to start
factory from are HD dealer would probaly want $10.00
bucks a piece,,,no-deal,,got to find something..help sportster

Did the bolts from the baghardware require a nut, or did they thread into the fender? I would think you'd be doing the same with the shorter bolt.
Bolt length: Take a piece of wire (coat hanger works) and bend 1/8 in. of the end; use pliers for a nice, tight bend. Stick it into the bolt hole, then pull back until you catch the hook on the other side. Mark the wire where it comes out of the hole on your side and voila!that's your bolt length. *NOTE: If you need to use a nut and washers, make sure you add enough length to your bolt to ensure total thread engagement.
Measure the dia. of the hole; that would get you the size of bolt you need. Buy a cheap bolt from the hardware store to confirm proper size and thread.
Youmay be able to find chromed or stainless steel bolts from a local fastener shop.
