05 sporty acceleration problems
05 1200 xl custom sporty blck cherry and grey/mikuni flatslide/551 lift cams/high perf clutch,se ignition/drag bars/micro tach/high flo air filter/hd synthetic oil since day one/ super unleaded always!
Been serviced frequently and never had any problems, has recently started stumbling or breaking up like running outta gas but not as extreme when i jump on the gas It starts at 3500 rpms and will subside than the bike will take off again! It starts when it warms up and get worse as i go, if i roll through the gears gently it rides ok! Basically when the cams kick in it falls on its face! Im layed off cant afford a massive bill plus thid time of yr its a two wk wait round here to get in a shop! Dnt have that kinda time! Thanks for the help

Sounds like what happens when I forget to push my choke in after it's plenty warm and try to rip on her. Believe it or not, Seafoam has fixed many of fuel/fuel line problems in many bikes and/or cagers for me.
Have you tried cleaning the fuel filter at all? Does your bike have one? Can't recall.
Could have a plugged bowl, vent or overflow. This phuckin ethanol hates carbs!
