Hey guys,
Just a quick question, a buddy of mine wants to weld some small brackets on his '11 iron, to prevent damage to electrical system/ecm is battery disconnecting sufficient.....? Or are there some other precautions necessary...?

Pulling the ground wire from the battery should be sufficient. But if you are MIG or stick welding that produce sparks you may want to remove the battery because the sparks can cause an explosion if you have a lead acid battery.
