Default what is it?
Ok 883 sportster the bracket that the pipes bolt to is it a resenater and can I take it off and make my own brackets and plug the holes? I just want to see what it dose if I do that any input!

....? Solid sentence structure will get you along ways in this forum. I am guessing you are talking about a baffle or something? Some pipes you remove a few screws from the bottom of the pipe and a baffle will pull out of it, rendering your bike louder...

Is this what you are asking?

Ok, second try... Your pipes bolt to the horizontal bracket that keep them in place? Sure, you can make a bracket and plug those. Not sure what you're going for though..

Is this what you are asking?
Or does he mean the crossover pipe?
Might be easier if you mentioned the year of the bike also

He's asking about the exhaust balance tube. It's suppposed to increase performance, how much... I don't know.

WOW-I thought I typed bad LOL!. The part I think hs is talking about is the crossover tube. If you are going to run slip on's there is no point getting rid of it.
