Signals brake and running light. They said I needed a load equalizer, but I just wired it to the factory harness and it works fine

[QUOTE=FlatIron;10157955]I chopped mine and got a flexible light array from chromeglow.com

Just curious, how this is working out long term. Tire rub issues? LEDs still working and are they bright enough to actually see?

It looks like the fender is attached to the swingarm so there should be no clearance issues.

Here's mine

Fender is attached to the frame and I have about an 1.25 inches of clearance between the tire and fender, haven't' scrapped it yet.

Beautiful bike! What are you doing for brake light/license plate mount? I'm a HD FNG so I didn't realize people we're attaching to the swing arm, makes sense tho. Thanks for the info. Is that a chopped stock fender? Just trying to gather info and ideas to bob out my 97 sporty hugger with NRHS 1250. Yours looks about dead on where I want to end up...

Thanks man, check out DK Customs for license plate mounts. I got one of their shock mount license plates on mine. I used the stock break light/turn signals just took off the extensions. I used the stock fender, just chopped off about 6 inches from the rear, cut frame rails, then mounted to frame. Easy to do with basic tools, just pick up cheap angle grinder and cut off wheels.
