Default Narrow Footpegs?

So I have a 2004 883C and therefore the forward controls that go with it. Now whoever had it before me Willie G'd the crap out of it and it has Willie G pegs all around.

Now I don't like them for three reasons:

1: I hate Willie G stuff, I'm sorry but I think it's tacky.
2: The shifter peg has also been changed and these pegs are squarish. Sometimes the peg rotates so my foot is hitting an edge, not a huge deal but I don't like it.
3: Now this is the big one, they stick out about a million freaking miles. They are by far the widest point on the bike and when I glance down while in a comfortable riding position I can see about an inch and a half of peg on either side.

Now I'm not some crazy lane splitting type, but I'd like to lose the skulls and tuck everything in a bit. Does anyone know of some narrow pegs out there, or done some homemade stuff? I can't seem to find any.

These guys have some sweet pegs available in two lengths. You can get them in different color schemes, too:

Those are pretty sweet and right about the size I want. I hate how expensive pegs are though.
